Full-Time Independently Licensed Therapist

Location: Moriarty, NM (Hybrid: In-Person & Telehealth)

Healing Word LLC is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and self-motivated independently licensed clinician (LPCC, LCSW, or an equivalent independently issued clinical license) to join our growing team in Moriarty, NM. This full-time role offers a flexible, hybrid schedule and the opportunity to build a meaningful caseload while providing high-quality, evidence-based care to individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish positive, trusting rapport with clients and families while maintaining professionalism and clinical boundaries
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain strict client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and agency policies
  • Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on each client’s needs and circumstances
  • Provide regular counseling sessions, monitor client progress, and adjust treatment plans as clinically indicated
  • Work with individuals, couples, and families when appropriate and clinically indicated
  • Utilize telehealth platforms for virtual sessions when needed
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation using the agency’s EHR (Simple Practice), including:
    • Initial evaluations
    • Individualized treatment plans and updates
    • Progress notes
    • Safety plans
    • Aftercare plans
    • Discharge summaries
    • Ongoing assessments as required
  • Provide clients with appropriate resources to support therapeutic goals
  • Coordinate with social service agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to secure needed services
  • Provide referrals outside the agency when clinically indicated
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal clinical requirements
  • Complete continuing education to maintain licensure and remain current with best practices
  • Participate in supervision, consultation, and professional development activities

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field
  • Independently licensed in the state of New Mexico with an LPCC, LCSW, or an equivalent clinical license in good standing
  • Strong clinical judgment and ethical practice
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with clients and families
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills with compassion and empathy
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Strong time-management and task-prioritization abilities
  • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
